Photo Blog Series: Breakfast

Brian and I love our food, especially international cuisine where we are able to try new and different things.  In fact, eating might be our favorite thing to do while we travel!  The next few days will be devoted to our favorite mealtime adventures.  =)

Appropriately, we will start with the most important meal of the day: breakfast.  This is especially important when you are traveling from morning to night.  In a previous blog, we introduced the different breakfasts around Europe.  Now, we hope you enjoy pictures from our most memorable ones.

Croissants and pastry with coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice (Nice, France)
Yummy coffee and waffles (Vienna, Austria)
Street-side espresso and pastry (Normandy, France)
Dipping bread in a soft-boiled egg (Mittenwald, Germany)
Homemade breakfast at our Bed and Breakfast (Algarve Coast, Portugal)
Pastry and thick Italian hot chocolate (Milan, Italy)
Beautiful breakfast spread by our family; yes, those are little salted sardines (Koprivnica, Croatia)
A typical Tuscan breakfast (Tuscany, Italy)
