Photo Blog Series: Dinner

Finally we're to my favorite meal of the day: dinner.  I love going out for a fun dinner when we travel so we can enjoy local food.  Brian in particular is really good about trying local delicassies, even if they are a bit unusual.

Haggis, which is traditionally cooked in a sheep's stomach (Edinburgh, Scotland)
Indian food at our favorite local Indian restaurant Orissa (Bury St. Edmunds, England)
Wild boar, which actually tasted like a really good pot roast (Algarve Coast, Portugal)
Chicken pie with mash at the Raven - notice the steam! (Bath, England)
Picci, an insanely good form of pasta - I couldn't get enough of it! (Tuscany, Italy)
Hungarian goulash, cabbage rolls, and potato salad (Vienna, Austria)
You just can't beat fondue in Switzerland!  (Zermatt, Switzerland)
Tuscan appetizers and wine from the family's vineyard (Tuscany, Italy)
Pork and chickpea stew that Brian loved (Algarve Coast, Portugal)
Authentic pizza and bruschetta - with a carafe of wine of course! (Rome, Italy)
Last not but least, Wok to Walk, an Asian noodle bar that would make a
fortune at college campuses!  It's cheap, quick, and REALLY good!  (Cardiff, Wales)
