Photo Blog Series: Signs from Home

When you're living overseas, there are definitely times when you get homesick.  We find that we get excited when we hear an American accent or see something from home.  This blog is dedicated to those memories that have made us smile while living in the UK and traveling through Europe.  =)

Restaurant "Orlando" (Munich, Germany)
Dry cleaning store (Berlin, Germany)
Pizzeria (Rome, Italy)
Great memory of home for the two Orlando-natives (Bath, England)
All the unhealthy American food you could ask for in a
local specialty delicatessen  (Amsterdam, the Netherlands)
A spaghetteria (Bamberg, Germany)
This Florida girl has sorely missed palm trees and sunshine!  (Lagos, Portugal)
Definitely appealing to the Americans in the area at the
Christmas Market (Bury St. Edmunds, England)
A local hotel (London, England)
American donuts at 7-11 - the Norwegians love this place!  (Oslo, Norway)
It was the most I've ever spent on a box of cereal, but it was so worth it
to have a taste of home!  (Cardiff, Wales)
Another restaurant named "Orlando" (Madrid, Spain)
You can tell somebody misses college football...  =)  (Silves, Portugal)
We saw this bus on one of our first weekends in the UK (Bury St. Edmunds, England)
The American Embassy (Berlin, Germany)
